MFT6131 & MFT6231 Internship 1 (72 credit program)
The first fieldwork course is an online-directed, supervised field experience during which learners practice specific clinical skills, including interviewing, assessment, intervention, documentation, and consultation in a marriage and family therapy field setting with individuals, couples, and families. This course requires a minimum of 50 hours of direct client contact.
Included in this course is a one-time fee for access to the Family Solutions’ Study Guide, MFT Model Worksheets, MFT Model Comparison Chart, MFT Concept Glossary, giving you access to all these materials in all subsequent Internships courses as well. This will give you access to these materials across all of your internship courses.
A 50-question exam is offered in an untimed format. This exam format emulates the AMFTRB National Exam, though is 1/4 the size of the actual test.
